The Scottish Offshore Wind Energy Council (SOWEC) is a strategic partnership between industry and government, focused on growing Scotland’s offshore wind sector. SOWEC plays a key role in setting priorities for supply chain development and appointed Scottish Renewables as the Cluster Management Organisation, ensuring the Clean Energy Cluster aligns with national ambitions and delivers coordinated industry impact.

Scotland’s enterprise agencies, including Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and South of Scotland Enterprise, support the development of businesses within the clean energy supply chain. They work closely with the Clean Energy Cluster to provide funding, innovation support and market opportunities, helping companies scale, build capability and compete globally.
