The scale of opportunity in offshore wind is enormous, but not every capable supplier is able to bid for it. When the risk built into a contract outweighs what a business can carry, qualified suppliers can be priced out of opportunities before the work even begins.
This workshop brings developers, investors and supply chain companies together to explore how that gap can be closed. Building on the morning’s closed roundtable on project finance and contract risk, this session looks at where the industry currently stands, what risk-sharing and mitigation models are already in use, and what longer-term solutions could ensure more of the local supply chain can access and compete for the opportunities ahead.
The workshop combines short presentations and small-group table discussions, followed by a networking reception to keep the conversation going.
Who should attend?
This event is open to all Clean Energy Cluster members with an interest in offshore wind contracting, supply chain investment or vertical partnering models.
