Opportunities
Supply Chain Accelerator
The Crown Estate Supply Chain Accelerator provides early-stage development funding for offshore wind supply chain projects, supporting them to be investment-ready.
Following two successful rounds in 2024 and 2025, a third round is now open for applications until Friday, July 3.
Like round two, the third round will support UK-wide fixed and floating offshore wind supply chain projects and related port infrastructure.

Offshore Wind Growth Partnership Wind Expert Support Toolkit
The Offshore Wind Growth Partnership (OWGP) Wind Expert Support Toolkit is a short-term intervention activity which aims to support growth of offshore wind supply chain companies through provision of specialist advice, market intelligence and strategic insight into the sector.

Opportunity for Scottish companies to work with TenneT Netherlands
TenneT Netherlands, the Dutch electricity Transmission System Operator, is preparing the next step in maintaining its offshore grid with a new procurement team and contract structure in the Netherlands.
TenneT Netherlands is looking for insights, ideas and perspectives on how offshore maintenance can evolve – smarter, more efficient and ready for the scale ahead.

Offshore Wind Industry Council’s (OWIC) Cluster Workshop
The Clean Energy Cluster recently attended a dedicated Cluster Workshop as part of OWIC’s cluster forum, a collaborative network connecting offshore wind supply chain clusters across the UK to drive economic growth and industrial capability.
The workshop covered key focus areas for each of the seven UK offshore wind clusters and how we can deliver a coordinated approach to feed into national strategies.
Some key insights included:
- Clusters act as essential coordinators, conveners and signposting hubs for the industry.
- Storytelling plays an important role in championing the supply chain, highlighting successes, capabilities and real-world impact.
- Our deep regional knowledge is crucial for shaping national strategies.

Renewable Energy Supply Chain Conference | May 28, Aberdeen
The Renewable Energy Supply Chain Conference, hosted by Scottish Renewables, took place in Aberdeen on May 28. The event brought together suppliers, developers and stakeholders from across the energy spectrum to explore opportunities and identify solutions that will maximise the economic potential of Scotland’s green energy future.

The Scottish Green Energy Supply Chain Awards | May 28, Aberdeen
The Clean Energy Cluster was delighted to sponsor the Green Business Growth Award at The Scottish Green Energy Supply Chain Awards 2026. The event was a brilliant celebration of so many fantastic suppliers and we were delighted to see three cluster members win on the night, including:
- Associated British Ports, winner of the Diversity and Culture Award
- International Testing Services who scooped the Green Business Growth Award
- European Marine Energy Centre who took home the Supply Chain Development Award.
