Cluster Events
Energy transition investment solutions survey
To support companies looking to expand across the energy transition sector, Scottish Enterprise, with the help of Xodus, is conducting a study to explore the investment and finance-raising challenges faced by supply chain companies in Scotland.
The objective of the study is to identify solutions to investment challenges from both a supplier and investor perspective. As part of this effort, Xodus invites cluster members that are planning to seek investment to share their insights.
To take part in this study, please complete the online survey by 5pm on Friday, March 28.
All responses will be treated under GDPR and Scottish Enterprise Data Privacy Policies. Please reach out to [email protected] or [email protected] with any questions.
Offshore wind innovation call
A new offshore wind innovation call is seeking the latest ideas in weather forecasting and improved designs for service operation vessels with up to £300,000 available to successful applicants.

The call is the second in a series of innovation calls offered by the £1 million Offshore Wind Research and Innovation (R&I) Programme, run by EMEC and sponsored by the West of Orkney Windfarm.
Apply for the innovation call on the Offshore Wind R&I Programme website by 1pm on Wednesday, April 9.
Foundation Scotland: Unlock Our Future Fund
The Vattenfall Unlock Our Future Fund supports projects in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire contributing towards a climate smart future. For an application to be ‘climate smart’ the project should directly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, particularly CO2, either through saving energy and/or renewable generation.
The fund, of up to £20,000, is provided by the European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre, which is owned and operated by Aberdeen Offshore Wind Farm Limited, a subsidiary of Vattenfall.

Renewable Energy Supply Chain Conference 2025 | March 13, Aberdeen
Scottish Renewables, in association with The Clean Energy Cluster, hosted the Renewable Energy Supply Chain Conference in Aberdeen on March 13.
This event provided a key platform for businesses and clients in the renewable energy industry to come together, explore opportunities and break down barriers to maximise the economic opportunity at stake.
The final session of the day, “The inside track – offshore wind opportunities straight from the source”, was hosted by the cluster and shared key insights into the offshore wind pipeline and how to engage with developers.

Sophie Pacitti, Supply Chain Officer, attended SPE Aberdeen and Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group’s (AREG) Scottish Energy Futures Conference to engage with cluster members and the wider supply chain.
OEUK Share Fair | March 19, Aberdeen
The Clean Energy Cluster exhibited at OEUK’s Share Fair 2025 on March 19 in Aberdeen.
Sophie Pacitti and Antigoni Markitani from the cluster team engaged with supply chain companies and technology innovators and gathered key insights on upcoming projects.

Floating Wind Days | May 21-22, Haugesund
2025 will be a pivotal year for floating wind in Norway as the country installs its first large-scale floating offshore wind park out to tender.
Norwegian Offshore Wind’s Floating Wind Days (FWD) brings together key figures, leaders and guests from around the world to share experiences and knowledge about the sector.

The Clean Energy Custer team will be in Haugesund at the event, representing the Scottish’s offshore wind supply chain.
