We’re excited to share the Regional Growth Prospectuses launched this week by The Crown Estate and the Offshore Wind Industry Council.

These tailored prospectuses focus on offshore wind clusters located in eight areas across Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland and map the strengths and capabilities of the offshore wind supply chain in these regions.

This UK-wide analysis showcases how the country is uniquely positioned to lead the global offshore wind market. It highlights our robust industrial base, innovative energy solutions and the collaborative efforts between government, industry and community stakeholders that are laying the groundwork for sustained growth.

The Clean Energy Cluster prospectus outlines how Scotland’s ports, manufacturers and innovators are already investing to meet the demands of the global market. From floating offshore wind innovation in Fife to the maritime capabilities of Aberdeenshire, Scotland has a diverse and thriving supply chain ecosystem ready to accelerate the offshore wind sector.

Commenting on the launch of the initiative, Emma Harrick, Director of Energy Transition and Supply Chain at Scottish Renewables, who leads The Clean Energy Cluster, said:
