Opportunities
Supply Chain Accelerator
The Crown Estate Supply Chain Accelerator provides early-stage development funding for offshore wind supply chain projects, supporting them to be investment-ready.

Following two successful rounds in 2024 and 2025, a third round is expected to open for applications in May and June 2026. Like round two, the third round will support UK-wide fixed and floating offshore wind supply chain projects and related port infrastructure.

The Clean Energy Cluster Roundtable | March 31, Nigg
The Clean Energy Cluster recently concluded its regional roundtable series at the Maraen Port of Nigg.

Kicking off with a tour of the facility and then a discussion on the region’s core capabilities, the session brought together suppliers and stakeholders from across the Cromarty and Moray region.
The roundtable provided an opportunity for local businesses to share insights on the challenges and opportunities ahead, particularly as the floating wind sector develops. It also reinforced the importance of regional collaboration in ensuring the supply chain is well-positioned to deliver Scotland’s expanding offshore wind pipeline.

The Scottish Green Energy Supply Chain Awards | May 28, Aberdeen
Following the Renewable Energy Supply Chain Conference, The Scottish Green Energy Supply Chain Awards will shine a spotlight on the companies driving the nation’s renewable energy projects forward. Finalists have been announced and include:
