ORE Catapult: Supply Chain Confidence Survey 2025
The Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult (ORE Catapult) has launched its fourth annual UK Offshore Wind Supply Chain Confidence Survey. The survey gathers insights from companies active in, or moving into, the UK offshore wind supply chain, helping to shape future support and policy.

Offshore Wind Growth Partnership: Fit 4 Offshore Renewables
The Offshore Wind Growth Partnership (OWGP) offers the Fit 4 Offshore Renewables (F4OR) programme to UK-registered companies ready to diversify into, or expand within, the offshore wind sector. Eligible businesses should either have ISO 9001 accreditation or be actively working towards it. They should be open to feedback and able to demonstrate how the support will make a meaningful difference. The programme runs for around 12–18 months, with a focus on business improvement and capability growth. At present, applications are not open, but OWGP publishes scope guidance and hosts webinars to help interested companies prepare.

Wind Expert Support Toolkit (WEST)
The Offshore Wind Growth Partnership (OWGP) has opened Wave 18 of the Wind Expert Support Toolkit (WEST) programme. This offers tailored transformation support for UK-based companies looking to grow in the offshore wind sector. Applicants must be the lead organisation, not have received OWGP business transformation support in the last 12 months and follow the scope and guidance documents. All applications get written feedback. Applications close on November 5.

Aberdeen Oil and Gas Transition Fund
Delivered by the UK Government, Scottish Government and Skills Development Scotland, a pilot programme backed by £900,000 will offer tailored support to around 200 current and former oil and gas workers in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Through the Oil and Gas Transition Training Fund, participants can access careers advice and funding for training in growth clean energy sectors, such as offshore wind, carbon capture and storage, hydrogen and related trades (e.g. welding, electrical engineering). To be eligible, you must be residing or employed in the oil and gas sector locally or have worked in it within the last two years.

EAGE Annual 2026 – Call for Abstracts
EAGE Annual 2026, taking place in Aberdeen, will feature a broad technical programme covering geoscience, engineering, CCS, renewables, infrastructure, digital transformation and more. If you have research or case studies to share, this is a great opportunity to present your work to a global audience and publish it in the official conference proceedings. Abstract submissions are open now until January 15, with authors notified by mid-March.

FLOW: Concrete Workshop and Networking Reception | November 12, Aberdeen
Floating Offshore Wind 2025, co-organised by Scottish Renewables and RenewableUK, returns to Aberdeen on November 12 and 13. On day one, The Clean Energy Cluster invites members to join us for a hands-on Concrete Workshop, exploring the role of concrete as a low-carbon material for the construction of floating wind foundations. Open to all cluster members and conference delegates, the session is a unique chance to learn, share expertise and connect directly with peers shaping Scotland’s floating wind sector.
